Induction Guidelines

In order to maintain the integrity of the Hall of Fame the following criteria has been established for nominations. Nominees must have exemplified the highest standards of sportsmanship, ethical conduct and character. All candidates will be judged on their significant and/or long-term contributions to Wattsburg-Seneca School athletics. The votes will be cast by all inductees and the members of the committee except for the Chairperson along with the living inductees. All voters will choose a total of 3 new inductees, from the Athlete category, Non-member or Team Categories.  Total votes will be counted by the committee with any tie votes to be broken by the committee leader. 

Eligible Candidates

  1. Athlete must have graduated from Wattsburg-Seneca,  a varsity competitor at Wattsburg-Seneca, and out of school for at least 5 years.

  1. Athletes must have distinguished themselves by their outstanding athletic participation, as well as other activities at Wattsburg-Seneca.

  1. Athletes must serve as examples of outstanding character, courage and leadership, which Wattsburg-Seneca seeks to develop in its athletic program.


The Non Athlete category is intended to cover most of the potential candidates that didn’t participate in an athletic capacity, however were an important part of the game experience. These include but are not limited to Coaches, Teachers, cheerleaders,  color guard, band, twirlers, or any other halftime participant. This could also include those individuals or companies that supported the sports programs.


Teams include any particular sports team that have reached the ranks of top team in the area or state.  It can also include those teams that stood above other Bobcat teams in team spirit. The team category includes a portion of an overall team such as a relay team withing the track and field team, which excelled. Finally the team category includes two or more members of the same family who excelled in Bobcat sports.
